Yoga for Small Spaces is a set of 52 large cards that will help you and your kids get moving while increasing your attention and reception to learning. Each card is color-coded for desired outcomes such as grounding, creativity, inner-strength, tolerance, communication and problem solving. All the exercises are specifically chosen to be done in a small space like a classroom, office or airplane, and they can all be done standing or sitting in a chair - excellent if you don’t have much space or are restricted in movement due to injury or rehab. Verbal cues, modification, benefits, key element, affirmation and skill level are included for each exercise, so no prior experience with yoga is required. Use the exercises on the cards as quick energy pick-me-ups, to reduce repetitive-stress injury such as long sessions at a computer, for classroom transition between subjects, as pre-therapy warm-up to reduce anxiety by triggering relaxation response and as a physical fitness activity on a rainy day recess or gym class.
